2. Information we collect

We collect only what is tied to a defined enquiry or booking purpose - not merely because it may be useful later.

3. How we use your information

• ·responding to your enquiry and understanding your travel requirements;
• ·preparing quotations and itineraries;
• ·hotel reservations, room allocation, cab/driver coordination, pickup/drop, guides, sightseeing, activities;
• ·flight/railway assistance, helicopter arrangements, Char Dham registration, permits, government registrations, traveller verification;
• ·payment, invoicing and refund processing;
• ·customer support, emergency travel assistance and complaint resolution;
• ·service improvement and, only with your separate consent, marketing.

4. Consent (DPDP)

Where we rely on consent, it is free, specific, informed, unconditional and unambiguous and given by clear affirmative action. Our forms use two separate controls: a required booking/enquiry consent, and an optional marketing consent that is unticked by default and never a condition of getting a quotation. You can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it (see "Your rights"). We may also process data where permitted by law for certain legitimate uses and legal obligations.

5. Sharing with suppliers

We share only the information reasonably necessary for a requested service with the appropriate supplier - hotel, driver, transport operator, guide, activity/ticket provider, helicopter operator, government/registration authority, or payment provider. Suppliers act under their own terms and applicable law. We do not sell your personal data.

6. "Plan My Trip" and WhatsApp

Completing the Plan My Trip form is separate from sending it on WhatsApp. When you choose "Send on WhatsApp", the details you entered may be transferred into a WhatsApp message for you to send; WhatsApp is a third-party platform governed by its own privacy practices. Always verify you are messaging LN Tourism's authorised number before paying. We disclose in our notice whether the form is stored on our systems; where it is only used to build a WhatsApp message, we say so accurately - we do not claim "we store nothing" unless technically true.

7. Children's data

A person below 18 is a minor for data-protection purposes regardless of the fare charged. Our website asks the booking person's age; if "Below 18" is selected, we ask that a parent or legal guardian make the booking. Where the applicable DPDP provisions require it, we obtain verifiable parental consent before processing a child's personal data and do not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children.

8. Sensitive & voluntary information

You are not required to disclose your sexual orientation, gender identity or health status to obtain a quotation or standard service. If you voluntarily share a mobility, dietary, medical or accessibility requirement (or a relationship/accommodation preference) for a specific request, we use it only to fulfil that request and communicate necessary details to the relevant supplier where authorised - not for unrelated profiling or marketing. Please avoid sending full medical records unless specifically necessary; we are not a medical provider.

9. Marketing & withdrawal

Promotional messages (WhatsApp/SMS/email) are sent only if you opt in via the optional marketing consent. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP/UNSUBSCRIBE, using an unsubscribe link, or contacting info@lntourism.com. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect service messages needed to manage a confirmed booking.

10. Retention & security

• ·We retain personal data only as long as needed for the enquiry/booking purpose or as required by law (e.g. tax/accounting), after which it is deleted or anonymised.
• ·We apply reasonable technical and organisational security measures. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; report any suspected issue to info@lntourism.com.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

• ·access a summary of the personal data we process about you and how;
• ·request correction, completion or updating of inaccurate data;
• ·request erasure of data no longer needed for its purpose;
• ·withdraw consent (as easily as given);
• ·nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity;
• ·raise a grievance with us and, where applicable, with the Data Protection Board of India.
